Hello, does anyone have any info (tips, tricks, and or ways to make it easy on your self) for installing a leveling kit on a 03 ford ranger. I'm also wondering about light bars. Anyone know any good reliable brands?

Rigid industries makes high quality lights. Check your local dmv if this is street driven. In CT. where I live it is as follows. 1) no brighter than 85w (55w when approaching a vehicle). That is standard high and low beam wattage. 2) no more than 6 light units facing forward. That includes fog, driving, and headlights. Most states exclude parking/directional from the number. 3) no higher than 54" to center of light. 2 & 3 can be fixed with covers while on road.

In my opinion, your better off with a body lift. Assuming you just want a little bit bigger tires? A body lift will give you the clearance you need without changing the geometry of your front suspension. Saving you money in the long on wheel bearings CV axles etc. and providing better performance with no need for realignment.
